Homeowners need to be keenly aware that overnight street parking within the
stoneybrook community is not permitted. Simply stated, our community’s streets are not wide enough to permit this. Violations of this restriction are noted by our Alert Security Service, which patrols our community from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM daily. If the Alert patrol officer notices a vehicle parked in the street between midnight and 6:00 AM, they place a tag on the vehicle wind shield and create a report that notes the date, time, vehicle, license plate and provide a copy of the tag and the report to the community Property Manager. The vehicle tag is intended to give the homeowner a notice of the violation and the need to stop the practice. The Property Manager will subsequently communicate with the homeowner to ensure the homeowner is aware that there are consequences if the practice were to be continued. If the practice continues, the result will be a hearing before a committee of homeowners. The fine for continued overnight street parking is $50 per vehicle per occurrence. If there are extenuating circumstances, such as bereavement, the homeowner should call the Property Manager in advance to alert the Property Manager of the situation. The intent of all of this is a Stoneybrook community that is safe, accessible to emergency services, and first rate in appearance.
